Coal Black Bent Strut with Clevis Ends California Sidecar Reproduction

Reproduction of California Sidecar Bent strut with clevis ends. Tube is powder coated coal black (semi gloss) and clevis bolts are machined from a solid piece of steel and zinc plated.

     This strut lets you get your foot under the strut to use the brake pedal and also is used so your passenger can get their foot on the rear floorboard. Used on all Harley-Davidson Dressers and Softails in the front and most rear mounts if carrying a passenger.

Strut tube is 1-1/2" O.D. With clevis bolts screwed in all the way it is 15-3/4" straight from bolt hole to bolt hole. With clevis ends screwed out all the way it is 22-1/2" straight from bolt hole to bolt hole. Right hand clevis bolt is 3/4"-16 tpi. Clevis bolt hole is 3/8". The threaded inserts were screwed into the 1-1/2" tube and then welded in place and you can still see some of the weld seam, see picture. Will only fit California Sidecars. Made in Florida, USA.
