Harley Davidson Shovelhead 4 speed Sidecar Mounts Attachment Manual 1966 to 1984

Diagram shows the upper rear sidecar mount that goes through the motorcycle frame. Bottom diagram shows the lower rear clevis mount bracket.

Pictured 2 is the other way to attach the upper rear mount with an eye nut to the strut and frame.

This manual show the many ways that the aftermarket 4 sidecar mounts have been attached to a shovelhead frame. FLH and the FXE used the same frame and the pictures and few diagrams will help you fabricate your own sidecar mounts for an aftermarket sidecar. Will not work with a OEM Harley sidecar. Manual is 10 pages long with pictures and a few diagrams but no measurements. Also shows the very basic instructions for setting up a California Sidecar. Manual is mostly about the mounts.
